CD update #3
11 songs. Joey’s drums are complete. Dave’s bass is complete. Bryan’s guitars are 95% complete. Trish has laid down lead vocals for 7 of 11 songs. What’s left? Neil will record his guitars starting December 7th. Bryan needs to record acoustic guitar for “The Kiss”. Trish needs to lay down lead vox for 4 songs. Bryan and Trish need to record backing vocals for many songs. Then mix, master and final approval. In conjunction with all of this, cd design layout is being drafted. Lots of hard work being put into this project. We can’t wait for you to hear it.

CD Update #2
There have been 3 total sessions in the studio for a total of 29.25 hours spent to date. All drums were completed in session 1. Dave knocked out all bass tracks in session 2. Bryan laid down all of his guitar tracks (minus Walk In Rewind which will be acoustic) in session 3. The next sessions will focus on Neil’s guitars and Trish’s vocals. More updates coming soon!

CD Update
The progress of the cd is promising. We entered the first studio session with the primary goal of completing the drums. We left that first session with Joey’s drums done, Dave’s bass started, and a “progress” cd that also included scratch guitars and vocals that sounded really good. Session 2 was a couple days later and Dave laid all bass tracks down. This upcoming week, we start guitars with Bryan going first. We hope to have Bryan and Neil’s guitars done and be into Trish’s vocals by early December.
The band is excited with the progress so far and can’t wait to get this monster released to all of you.

November 5th Live Show
What a great show this turned out to be. We want to thank PHD, Mercury Transit, The Alisha Peru Band, and Alien Jane for rocking out with us. We want to thank Johnny for the HD video shots, Brent and The Rock for having us, and Allusion Studios for sponsoring this gig. We want to send out an extra special thanks to all the fans that came out and supported this show. We couldn’t do this without you! Thanks so much and we will see you out there again in 2012. Now, to focus in on the album.

Studio Weekend Recap
So, this was the weekend that we started our album. In these 2 days, we laid the foundation tracks for all 11 songs we plan on releasing on our album. Drums are essentially done. We will be finalizing bass tracks and then moving onto guitars and vocals. We are all pleased with the progress we made. There is still a lot of work on this project, but we’ve taken a giant first step. We can’t wait to get this done and released.

One week from starting our album
We are one week away from entering Allusion Studios and starting the process of recording our debut album. The band has been hard at work preparing for this session and we are excited to finally get this process started. We look forward to working with Jim, Chase, and the rest of the Allusion team as they help us make our musical vision a reality.

Last planned gig of 2011
We are hosting a night of melody at The Rock on Saturday, November 5th, with Alien Jane, The Alisha Peru Band, Mercury Transit, and PHD.
In order to focus attention on recording our first full length album, this will be DOP’s last planned show of 2011.
